COUPLES COUNSELING

Each couple responds to distress in their own way. Sometimes there is constant arguing and conflict, or a distant coldness has developed between the two of you. Often life events, stress from work, the children, other family members or finances begin to take on toll on your relationship.

Sometimes our own past histories have an impact on your current relationship. Questions like,
"How can I be myself and yet be a part of a couple?" along with the demands of parenting and work
can be overwhelming.

I evaluate each couple individually, looking at each couple's unique stressors and history to develop a treatment plan and focus that addresses the their concerns and goals. I work to help each couple improve their communication and increase a sense of trust and intimacy.

It is a pleasure to see couples and rediscover the joy in each other’s company.
