How do relationships work? Relationships are complex and dynamic. They change throughout their existence. Individuals can sometimes get locked into relationship roles and can’t see how to make desired changes. This situation often leads to relationship problems. Indicators of relationship issues include: frustration, anger, blame, tension, conflict, emotional pain, mistrust, guilt, despair, alcohol and drug dependency, and child behavior problems. Family Systems Counseling can improve: communication, awareness, acceptance, intimacy, individual growth, and mutual respect. Through family systems counseling you can change: unspoken rules, your relationship roles, and how you develop new roles and rules. |
